Shop on Deals is a free site funded by affiliate commission. This page explains exactly what that means, because you are entitled to know how a site that recommends things to you makes its money.
How we earn
Most of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and go on to buy something, the retailer may pay us a small share of the sale. We are approved partners on the Admitad, Impact and Paid On Results affiliate networks, and those networks handle the tracking and the payment.
What it costs you
Nothing. Commission is paid by the retailer out of their own margin. You pay the same price whether you arrive through this site, through a search engine, or by typing the shop’s address in yourself.
What it does not change
- What we list. Retailers cannot pay for a position on this site. An offer is listed because it exists and we can describe it accurately.
- What we say about an offer. Discounts, conditions and delivery terms are taken from the retailer or their affiliate feed. We do not inflate a saving or drop a condition to make a listing more attractive.
- Whether we list a retailer at all. Some shops on this site run no affiliate programme we are part of. They are listed anyway, and we earn nothing from them.
Accuracy
Retailers change prices, codes and terms whenever they like, and they do not tell us when they do. We refresh offers every night and remove ones that have been withdrawn or have expired, but a code can still stop working between our check and your visit. Always confirm the discount has been applied before you pay, and treat the retailer’s own terms as the final word.
